All,
We are almost at the end of our journey together in the Spring 2011 WEB class. I want to know what you thought of the class and what your suggestions are for future classes? What activities did you like the most? What can we improve on? What did you think of the length of the class? Are their any other tools we could provide future students? (Be realistic)
We want to build on your experience so please share....

I thought this class was very interesting, and I think that in high school I would be more better in high school economics. The activities I liked the most was when we played that game when you have to walk up to people blind-folded and pick the person that has money. And I also like the game when we played the sell and buy stocks and won candy. I think I can prove on being more into computers because it is very important for your future.I think that the length was ok. Tolls that I can provide for future students is that don't think that economics isn't important because it is something you should know about in the future.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed WEB class. Although sometimes it felt like it was too boring and I felt like what I was learning was too hard. I felt bad when I felt this way towards the class, so I tried to enjoy it as much as I could. The majority of the classes I enjoyed, it was interesting for me to learn all about the economy and how money is handled between business.
ReplyDeleteWhat I enjoyed most about this class was the opportunity to use the computers to finish our work. I think this was a great idea, but I think that you guys could make more assignments that involve using the computer.
The activity that I enjoyed the most was the one when we were bidding and trying to come to an agreement between the buyers and sellers. I loved this activity because it helped me focus and understand what we were learning.
About the length of the class... I guess I can't complain about it. I sometimes felt like it took too little and the class was over in no time. I liked the fact that since I had to come top WEB class, it cut my time spent on Social Studies, so that was good.
My final decision about this class was that I enjoyed it very much, even if there were times when I wandered into la la land.... =)
I'm very sad that this is going to an end I really enjoyed being in the class with all of the other students from different schools. Got to meet a lot of new people.I thought that the class was very helpful in a lot of ways. The WEB Class also helped me learn a lot about economics.I think the class should go all the way to 2:10. One activity I liked was when Alex and Dave came and met us in person and the class played the buyer and seller game(and won candy).

Well I don't think you have to change much..
I think the class should be longer but it was a good length.
Also I learned a lot of things!!!!
I think that this class should have been longer than is was and i really like this economics stuff this will give me a push into my future.
ReplyDeleteIt would be alot better if we had fun assignments. But we did have some activities like the one with the suppliers and buyers. I also liked the activity we did in the beginning of the class with the money and candy too. This was a fun experience to do because I learned new things that I didn't know.

i had a lot of fun this year. i got to meet new people and see things i've never seen before. I didn't know much about economics before i started this class, and i'm glad i wrote my essay. though i think it would have been better for us to have it for a longer time.other than that i don't have any problems. i just love the fact that i get to miss some school. :) !
ReplyDeletei think this class was agreat experience i learned alot and im sure alot of other students did. I have a lot of knowledge about economics now im have taken an economics. I like the way you showed us its a better way of me understanding it then you just to teach it to us. but you can improve it by doing it alot more with the ten week class i think you a visual example like 2 times i think alot of peoplewill understand it visual better then just teaching it to us. The length of the classes were kind of long but in the long run it helped out.I think you should provide pens,pencil,and paper thing of that nature.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this class and I can't can't believe its almost over. We've made it far and it was an interesting and enjoyable. I wouldn't change a thing but to make our time together longer. I'll miss all my instructors and colleagues. ttyl !!!!!!!='')
ReplyDeletei think the web class was an amazing experience and i believe that the only thing that would make it better would be if we would of used the ipads more but other then that i believe it was an amazing year and the time is awesome there was so much time and everything didn't feel like it was rushed i love the web class it will always be a good experience in my life except for Mr. Mrosek always picking on me jk but i love the people there the best
ReplyDeleteIt was fun for the time it lasted, i made new friends (on facebook and off) i really enjoyed the activities we did, even though i dont really win. It did get boring at times but i mainly liked it. My suggestions for future classes to have more students so the room will be more filled. Anyways, thats it! =)
ReplyDeleteWeelll, I think that this w.e.b class has been a great experience. [: I had a lot of fun building up on my knowledge on the world of economics! My favorite activity was when we got to wrok with CANNDDYY! Because, whoe doesn't like candy! :D One thing i would improve is the schedual probably. Overall i think this is a wonderful class.

All I Knew Was That it Was A Big important Word !
I've Heard it More Then Once, But Didn't Quite Know What it Meant.
Threw Out This Interesting Mission, Iv'e Learned That The Word "Economics" Has A lot Of Meanings.
This Unusual Word Means Things Such As Incentives,Supply & Demand .
I Like That We Got To Buy Our Own Stocks.
In The End I Think Having This Class Will Come in Handy iN The Future.(=
