It would be useful because if they would let us text we could text our parents to bring us our assignments that we forgot and we would not get a zero. We could also text our brothers or sisters if we need help while the teacher was helping someone else.
What if students could use cell phones to take a quiz in class? What if a teacher could text questions to kids? What if there was a shooting in school and students needed to contact their parents to let them know they are OK?
Texting is what everybody talk about these days. A lot of people are addicted to texting and it takes a great part of their lives. But, how could this be helpful in school? Honestly, I don't think that it would be helpful at all. A lot of kids use their phone to text each other the answers during a test, they use texts to say mean things about other people, and if they used them in school, they wouldn't concentrate completely on their schoolwork. We already talked about replacing textbooks with some kind of electronic, but now we're allowed to use phones in school? I personally don't think that this is such a very good idea.
texting would be useful in school because we could see what homework we have if we weren't in class we could ask people for help and it would be so much quieter and the teacher could get more work done with the less noise and we would be able to use the internet to look things up which would mae it so much faster
Text messaging could help teachers and student communicate. Even if there not in school student could ask questions to teachers . But i don't know if I would want to have texting in school because there would be a lot of problems.
It could be useful in many ways. We could use it for looking up things we dont understand. But if we bring it to school then we could be distracted. But im like half half on both sides or whatever
If we were allowed to use cell phones in school it would be awesome!! Also we could use apps to help us in class. The possibilities are endless we could do stuff and it would be easier. Although we could get distracted really easily.So thats a negative. But it would be cool :)
If students were allowed to bring cell phones it would be a useful learning tool.It would be useful because they could use their internet to research. It is also useful because you can text your friend about a project.

Say Like You Have A 2Look Up A Very Hard Word, &Its Not iiN The Dictionary . You Can Use The Internet 2Look Up The Word. But Now Since Technology Has Changed , There's A lot 0f New Features On A Cell Phone. Theres Different Types Of A calculators That Can Help You Convert Units Etc. Then You Can Interact With Your "Friends" That Are Not at The Same School As You . In The End It Will Be A Very Useful Item In School .
I actually think that allowing kids to texts during school would not be helpful at ALL. I think we should be allowed to have our phone during school in case of emergencies, but if we were to be allowed to text it would be too much of a distraction. Also kids would probably spend most of their time texting that actually paying attention to their teachers. [=

Texting on cell phones is useful for school because teachers always says don't talk during a test, but texting isn't talking so texting should be disturbing to anyone, unless the phone is not on vibrate or silence.
I don't think students should be able to have cell phones in class. Some students would take advantage of the opportunity and may cheat in class. The only benefit of having phones in class would be the use in case of an emergency. I believe the cons out way the pros.
We could communicate better! Instead of talking and teachers yelling at us for talking we can text each other. And that would reduce the noise!
